This is the story of two newspapers who worked side by side every day for four years, but never realised how they felt. Until now.

Metro, a cosmopolitan type, arrived in Dublin in 2005 and made quite an impression on morning commuters. Soon, she found herself working in close proximity to salt-of-the-earth Dublin man, Herald AM.

Both extremely ambitious and competitive, the pair became instant rivals. It was only in 2009 that they finally realised the true nature of their feelings and that they could become even stronger by joining as one. It was love at first light!
